As their business grows, brands that traditionally sustained themselves from other marketing methods come to see the need for email marketing.
This is particularly true for SMBs that make the transition from wholesale distribution to B2C retail.
And they often lack the talent and infrastructure needed to do so.
With the help of our email design and coding services, Vitamedica was able to successfully make this transition, generate significant revenue from email marketing, and grow the B2C aspect of their business.
Vitamedica is a dietary supplement company that formulates, manufactures, and distributes high-quality supplements for surgery, recovery, skincare, beauty, and general health and wellness.
When they initially launched in 1997, they sold exclusively to wholesale customers in healthcare and aesthetic industries (plastic surgeons, dermatologists, med spas, aestheticians, etc.).
They began selling to retail customers in 2012. And in 2018, they hired us to help grow the B2C side of their business by coding and designing promotional emails and automated campaigns.
Together, we developed a uniform set of brand standards for their emails, increased the volume and consistency of their email messages, optimized their email designs, and increased email-driven revenue.
“Since working with this vendor our volume of emails and our email-based revenue has increased. We’ve established consistency in our messaging and improved the rate at which we execute on campaigns. Their ability to quickly turn around coding projects and simple email designs has been a big plus. As compared with other vendors, we appreciate them working with us on multiple changes and email variations without nickel and diming us on those variants or putting a max number of changes as a restriction on any campaign they’ve completed for us.”

We helped Vitamedica create hundreds of emails.
While this case study contains more than 50, we wanted to first review some of the emails we created and the email design best practices we employed:
